At the 81st Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Gastroenterological Surgery, held at Pacifico Yokohama from July 15-17, 2026, our department presented 9 papers, including panel discussions and workshops.
Active discussions were held on the latest findings regarding treatment strategies and surgical techniques for biliary tract cancer in the hepatic hilum region and pancreatic cancer, making it a very meaningful conference. Our department will continue to strive to create evidence from both clinical and research aspects and contribute to the provision of better medical care.
